Baseball Recap: First Academy Gets the Win

The First Academy Eagles beat the Bell Creek Academy Panthers 6-3 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

The team relied heavily on Collin Herrell, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Dylan Bell, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3.

First Academy's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Bell Creek Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13-1 record this season.

First Academy will take on Trinity Christian Academy in a tournament on Saturday. First Academy will need to watch out since Trinity Christian Academy has now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches. As for Bell Creek Academy, they will challenge Pinellas Park at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
