Strake Jesuit entered their tilt with Fulshear on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They had just enough and edged out the Chargers 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Fighting Crusaders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Strake Jesuit's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-8. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Fulshear, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-6-1.

Strake Jesuit will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Chargers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
