The Cypress Creek Cougars were the 65-52 winner over the Spring Lions when they last played one another back in December of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. Cypress Creek took a 51-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Spring on Thursday. Cypress Creek has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Spring's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bryce Archie, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 10 rebounds. Cedric Richardson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Cypress Creek now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Spring, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.
Cypress Creek's road trip will continue as they head out to face Waller at 11:00 a.m. on December 1st. Waller will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 825th, while Cypress Creek is ranked 321st). As for Spring, they will take on Grand Oaks at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
