The biggest upset of the week belonged to Lawrence Free State, who took down ninth ranked East, 28-0.
Lawrence extended the longest winning streak in Sunflower this week by beating South, 32-15. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Lions.
South's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Falcons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Frank Seurer has thrown for 390 yards and five touchdowns this season, while Matt Elliot has 10 catches for 155 yards. Russell White leads the league in rushing with 722 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Lawrence takes on Leavenworth. Dirk Wedd's team is in third place, while the PIONEERS are in seventh place.
South took down Shawnee Mission Northwest 34-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
