Mekeel Christian Academy might have lost, but man, Bria Salvo was a machine: she had ten digs, six aces, and one block. Salvo is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last 11 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Paige Brennan, who had ten kills, eight digs, and three aces.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Schoharie, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against Middleburgh on Wednesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Storm in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won five in a row.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Schoharie took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-11, 25-13.
Schoharie's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Mekeel Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-4-1.
