Southerland is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Jacelyn Hammon, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Lone Grove has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season. As for Plainview, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-3.
Lone Grove lost to Plainview at home by a decisive 56-38 margin in their previous meeting two weeks ago. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Hammon, who scored 21 points along with six assists and five steals.
