Bishop Hartley entered their game against St. Francis DeSales on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Hawks fell just short of the Stallions by a score of 23-21. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since November 6, 2020, but that streak is no more.

Bishop Hartley's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Robert Lathon, who gained 222 total yards and a touchdown, and Mathew Galich, who threw for 296 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 11.4 yards per attempt. Galich's passing game has become a key predictor of the Hawks' success: the team is 2-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 3-4 otherwise.

Bishop Hartley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for St. Francis DeSales, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.
