Basketball Recap: Ramsey Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Ramsey had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 44-37 win over the West Milford Highlanders. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rams also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Several Highlanders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Laurel Space, who posted seven points along with eight boards and five blocks. The dominant performance gave Space a new career-high in blocks. Adison Arciniega was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 11 points and nine boards.

Ramsey's victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-2. As for West Milford, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 3-2.

Ramsey will head out to take on River Dell at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Milford, they will challenge Wayne Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
