For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last six times Ellington and Rockville have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Saturday. The Knights never let the Rams get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won ten matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.
Camryn Fisher made a splash while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 16 over six innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two hits any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI.
