The Roswell Hornets will head out on the road to  face off against  the Langston Hughes Panthers  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  both  will really light up the scoreboard.

  Trey Smith was  his usual excellent self, throwing for 268 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.2 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 33 yards.  Synkwan Smith handled things on the ground, rushing for 89 yards.
 On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Roswell's defensive line and their five sacks.  Kobby Sakyi-Prah was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up 3.5 himself. He also set a new season high mark in  total tackles with nine.
 Meanwhile, Langston Hughes waltzed into their game  on Friday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They blew past the Wildcats 58-35. Considering the Panthers have won ten matches by more than 22  points this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Langston Hughes' success was spearheaded by the efforts of   Qwantavius Wiggins, who rushed for 126 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and   Maurice Gleaton Jr, who rushed for 89 yards and a touchdown. Gleaton Jr really tore up the turf  during one magnificent 89-yard run.

 Langston Hughes pushed their record up to 10-1 with the  victory, which was their tenth straight  at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.9 points per game. As for Roswell, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record  this season.
 Friday's   matchup might be decided in the on the ground. Roswell has been unstoppable on the ground this season,  having  averaged 210.1  rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Langston Hughes struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 228.3. It's looking like  Friday's  game might have some serious battles in the trenches.
