After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Orchard Park, the Jamestown Red Raiders were happy to have found some success on Friday. They strolled past Mount Mercy Academy with points to spare, taking the game 49-35. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Jamestown also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Several Magic players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bella Scarcello, who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexis Dintino, who scored eight points.
Jamestown's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Mount Mercy Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
Jamestown will be playing in front of their home fans against Williamsville North at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jamestown is coming into the game with four straight victories at home, so Williamsville North is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum. As for Mount Mercy Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 48-14 victory vs. Brocton on the 10th.
