There's no place like home for Dewey, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with an 8-5 victory over the Miami Wardogs on Thursday. The Bulldoggers haven't had any issues with the Wardogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Eddie Rice, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That home run was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Easton Davis, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Dewey lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in March of 2024.

Dewey's record is now 17-10. As for Miami, their record now sits at 6-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dewey will challenge Muskogee at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Miami, they will face off against Oklahoma Union at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
