JR Jackson Earns League's Top Spot
Starting off the list is Alliance's JR Jackson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Jackson threw for 321 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 13.4 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 39 yards.
For the season, Jackson has thrown 11 touchdowns while averaging 129.1 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 0.44 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 38.67 rushing yards.

Thomas Came Up Big in West Branch's 33-6 Win
West Branch picked up their ninth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jeremiah Thomas. Thomas was dynamite, rushing for 91 yards and three touchdowns, while also throwing for 287 yards and two touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes.
West Branch's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-0. Thomas and West Branch will face off against Salem at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Joey Jackson and Co. Win Ninth in a Row
Joey Jackson was instrumental in extending West Branch's winning streak to nine on Friday. Jackson was dynamite, picking up 154 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Jackson must have Carrollton's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Jackson saw Carrollton), he picked up 138 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Boston Mulinix Delivers Electric Effort Vs Carrollton
Boston Mulinix's big game helped extend West Branch's winning streak to nine on Friday. Carrollton had no answer to Mulinix as he rushed for 163 yards while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards Mulinix has posted since back in September of 2023.
If the past is any indication, Mulinix could be in store for another big game when he takes on Salem on Friday. When Mulinix last faced the Quakers back in October of 2023, he rushed for 112 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries.

Brady White Makes It Two for Alliance
Another Alliance player making an appearance on this list is Brady White. He picked up 93 receiving yards and a touchdown. He didn't just play on offense: he also made three total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defended a pass in addition to snagging an interception.
On the season, White has caught 4 touchdowns while averaging 38.8 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after nine games last season, he was only averaging four receiving yards per game.
