After flying high against BCLUW last Friday, East Buchanan came back down to earth. It was close but no cigar for East Buchanan as they fell 18-21 to Wapsie Valley on Friday. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.
The loss dropped East Buchanan back to even at 4-4. The victory bumped Wapsie Valley's record up to 6-2.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week East Buchanan take on Hudson at 7:00 PM. Hudson are cruising in on a eight-game winning streak. As for Wapsie Valley, they will face off against Grundy Center. Wapsie Valley will be strutting in after a win while Grundy Center will be stumbling in from a defeat.
