The Boca Ciega Pirates will head out on the road to face off against the Dunedin Falcons at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. Dunedin took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Boca Ciega, who comes in off a win.
Boca Ciega has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 29 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 54-25 win over Pinellas Park on the road. The win made it back-to-back wins for Boca Ciega.
Meanwhile, Dunedin ended up a good deal behind Palm Harbor University on Thursday and lost 55-36. While losing is never fun, Dunedin can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 547th, while Palm Harbor University is ranked 258th).
Boca Ciega's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Dunedin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.
