Baseball Game Preview: North Broward Prep Eagles vs. American Heritage Stallions

For the second straight game, North Broward Prep will face off against American Heritage. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Stallions at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (North Broward Prep 2.8, American Heritage 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.

North Broward Prep is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over American Heritage. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Stallions: they've now won five in a row.

North Broward Prep got a great performance from Logan Bristol as he struck out seven batters over 5.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits (and only one walk). Bristol has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Josiah Haslem, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Julian Rodriguez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
