The Gulfport Admirals suffered their biggest loss since December 12, 2023 on Friday. They were outmatched by Biloxi on the road and fell 50-20. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Gulfport has scored all season.
Among those leading the charge was Aaliyah Davison, who almost dropped a triple-double on 15 points, nine rebounds, and nine steals. Another player making a difference was Zaniya Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Gulfport's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Biloxi, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-2 record this season.
Gulfport will be playing in front of their home fans against Heidelberg at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Biloxi won't have much time to rest: their next game is against McGill-Toolen at 1:00 p.m. on January 13th. McGill-Toolen is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
