The home team had won the previous four meetings between Forsyth and Sparta, and Forsyth kept the tradition alive. The Panthers blew past the Trojans 11-3 on Friday. Considering the Panthers have won five matchups by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Forsyth's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9. As for Sparta, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Forsyth has already played their next contest, a 5-3 loss against Clever on the 12th. As for Sparta, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-2 defeat against Springfield Catholic on the 11th.
