This season hasn't been kind to the Heritage Academy Warrior, who are still winless after their sixth game. They took a 47-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lighthouse Prep Academy. The contest was a 22-22 toss-up at halftime, but Heritage Academy couldn't quite close it out.
Leading Lighthouse Prep Academy to victory were Jordan Little and Alajun Proctor. Little scored 12 points, while Proctor scored 13 points. Grant King was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Heritage Academy's loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Lighthouse Prep Academy, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Heritage Academy and Heartland Christian Academy will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Heartland Christian Academy is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Lighthouse Prep Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
