Wheeler strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the McEachern Indians by a score of 68-59. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' national basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while the Indians are ranked 50th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wheeler's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for McEachern, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Looking ahead, Wheeler will venture away from home to challenge Marietta at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will be up against the Blue Devils' rather soft defense (which has allowed 53.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for McEachern, they will take on Graves County in a tournament on Thursday.
