The Butler Lynx scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They breezed by Round Lake on the road to the tune of 82-47. The win was some much needed relief for Butler as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.
Leading Butler to victory were Tyshawn Turner and Danny Bennett. Turner scored 24 points, while Bennett scored 33 points. That makes it 16 consecutive games in which Bennett has scored at least 25% of Butler's points. Dwayne Watson was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Butler's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Round Lake, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Butler is on the road again on Saturday and play against Stockbridge at 2:00 p.m. on January 6, 2024. As for Round Lake, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Dundee-Crown at 1:30 p.m.
