The Northwestern Huskies's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Norwayne, falling 88-57. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Northwestern in their matchups with Norwayne: they've now lost nine in a row.
It was another big night for Parker Metsker, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds and two steals for Norwayne. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Metsker has scored all season. Braden West was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five steals and two blocks.
Northwestern's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Norwayne, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
Northwestern will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Waynedale at 7:00 p.m. As for Norwayne, they will head out on the road to face off against Chippewa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
