Softball Recap: Brewer Takes a Loss

Brewer lost against Ardmore last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Brewer Patriots lost 12-2 to the Ardmore Tigers. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cheyenne Lucas made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in stolen bases.

Brewer's record now sits at 10-6-1. As for Ardmore, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6-1 record this season.

Brewer will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Elkmont at 4:30 p.m. on March 31st. As for Ardmore, they will take on Curry in a tournament on Monday. Curry will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something Ardmore surely won't give up without a fight.
