The Roybal Titans pushed their score all the way to 62 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 68-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of Franklin. Ingram scored a full 35.5% of Roybal's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Ricardo Merino, who scored 11 points along with 7 rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Roybal and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Franklin, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.
Roybal will be playing at home against Belmont at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Belmont will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 763rd, while Roybal is ranked 230th). Franklin's road trip will continue as they head out to face Hollywood at 4:00 p.m. on December 4th. Hollywood is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
