St. Louis HomeSchool P has won six straight games at home, while Chester has won six straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Wednesday. The Patriots will host the Yellowjackets at 4:30 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
While St. Louis HomeSchool P's win against Priory wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Patriots narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Ravens 3-2. The game snapped a strange streak: the last six times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Samuel Hart spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on two hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because St. Louis HomeSchool P is 8-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 14-15 otherwise.
At the plate, St. Louis HomeSchool P's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Will Schark, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
Meanwhile, while Chester put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Okawville. The Yellowjackets sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 victory over the Rockets. The Yellowjackets haven't had any issues with the Rockets recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.
Not much got past Evan Dunning, who gave up just two hits and racked up nine Ks to keep Okawville off the board. Dunning has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Ethan Colvis was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Blechle, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.
Chester's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for St. Louis HomeSchool P, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 22-16 record.
