Ancelet has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. Ava Walls was another key player, putting up four points and five rebounds.
Even though they lost, Danville was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Evansville Reitz only racked up seven assists.
Bailey Hape continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Evansville Reitz, posting 28 points and four steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Hape has scored at least a third of Evansville Reitz's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaelyse Mitchell, who posted 11 points and seven boards.
Danville's defeat dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Evansville Reitz, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.
