After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lakewood, the St. Petersburg Green Devils were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They secured a 55-50 W over Boca Ciega. That's another feather in the cap for St. Petersburg, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
St. Petersburg's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Quay Curry, who scored 23 points. Another player making a difference was Kevina Le, who scored 14 points.
The victory got St. Petersburg back to even at 2-2. As for Boca Ciega, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
St. Petersburg will head out on the road to face off against Indian Rocks Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Boca Ciega, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Osceola at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th.
