Wamego was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight  loss. They fell  2-0 to the Louisburg Wildcats. The Red Raiders were not able to make up for their  defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting  back in October of 2024.
Wamego's offense was headlined by  Mia Meyer and  Mya Kohlmeier, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from  Leah Winter and her four assists.  Marie McVay controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Wamego's loss dropped their record down to 14-21. As for Louisburg, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-12 record  this season.
 Wamego does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Louisburg, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  contest,  a  3-0  win against Baldwin on the 21st.
