Willapa Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nathan Fluke led the charge by scoring 21 points along with six assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which Fluke has scored at least 25% of Willapa Valley's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Ritzman, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds.
The victory got Willapa Valley back to even at 7-7. As for Columbia Adventist Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.
Willapa Valley will head out on the road to face off against Pe Ell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbia Adventist Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Washington School for the Deaf at 5:00 p.m. Washington School for the Deaf is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
