Last Tuesday, Benjamin Franklin got the win against Strawberry Mansion by a conclusive 66-46. The victory was just what Benjamin Franklin needed coming off of a 89-44 defeat in their prior game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Benjamin Franklin to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kneco Hill, who scored 20 points along with 5 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Soukare Fane, who scored 16 points.
Meanwhile, Vaux Big Picture didn't have too much trouble with South Philadelphia at home on Tuesday as they won 52-37. The victory was just what Vaux Big Picture needed coming off of a 58-36 loss in their prior contest.
Vaux Big Picture's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Kurtis Jackson, who scored 20 points along with 3 steals, and Cameron Rembert, who scored 16 points along with 9 steals and 7 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Jackson has scored at least 25% of Vaux Big Picture's points. Azad Curry was another key contributor, scoring 3 points along with 3 steals.
The losses dropped Benjamin Franklin to 1-1 and Strawberry Mansion to 0-2.
