The regular season was a success, but the real challenge begins now, in the postseason. Century will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Fargo South at 5:00 PM. Century strut in flaunting some offensive muscle with an average of 35.67 points per game.
Last Wednesday, Century put the finishing touches on their 7th blowout victory of the season. Everything came up roses for them against Legacy as the team secured a 42-0 win. That looming 42-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Century yet.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 7-47, which was the final score in Fargo South's tilt against Sheyenne. The state rankings had actually given Fargo South a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Century's victory lifted them to 8-1 while Fargo South's defeat dropped them down to 5-4. We'll see if Century can repeat their recent success or if Fargo South bounce back and reverse their fortune.
