Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask School of the Woods). They breezed by the Community Christian Lions to the tune of 82-32 on Friday. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 21 points or more this season.
Kieran Knight was his usual excellent self, putting up 25 points along with five assists and four steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed four or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Mathis Torgerson, who posted 11 points and three steals.
They weren't the only one working in the assists department: School of the Woods was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Community Christian only posted one assist.
When it comes to explaining why Community Christian lost, don't look at Will Kratzer. Despite the final result, he earned 17 points.
School of the Woods pushed their record up to 16-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 37.2 points. As for Community Christian, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.
