Oakland (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) kept up a steady attack all game long to upset Siegel (Murfreesboro, Tenn.), 35-0, on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Fredarius Wade in the first quarter, the Patriots led 28-0 at the half.
Oakland expanded its lead to 35 points entering the fourth quarter. OHS's lone score in the quarter came on a touchdown pass by
Rhett Stacey to
Kyle Oliver.
With the win the Patriots extended their winning streak to 12 games. Oakland defeated Wilson Central 41-0 last week.
Oakland had given up an average of 8.9 points prior to the contest.
The victory is a complete turnaround from last season's game between these two teams, which the Stars took, 58-13.
The loss broke Siegel's two-game winning streak.
