After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Thornton Academy, Pinkerton was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Andover Golden Warriors as the Pinkerton Astros made off with a 40-17 victory. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Astros considering their seven-point performance the game before.
Although Andover took the loss, they still got scores from Julius Martinez and Ben Hnat.
The win got Pinkerton back to even at 1-1.
Pinkerton will look to defend their home field on Friday against Portsmouth/Oyster River at 7:00 p.m. Pinkerton will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak dating back to last season alive. As for Andover, they will head out on the road to take on Shrewsbury at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Andover focused on turnovers this week as team gave up four on Friday.
