They had to suffer through a rough 81-20 loss at the hands of Somerset Academy - Canyons. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Boca Raton Christian in their matchups with Somerset Academy - Canyons: they've now lost four in a row.
Boca Raton Christian's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Lydia Deweber, who scored five points, and Hannah Scott who scored a point.
Somerset Academy - Canyons' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alanna Fabrini, who scored 12 points along with six assists and five rebounds. Fabrini hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Delanie Doty, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Boca Raton Christian's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Somerset Academy - Canyons, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-5.
Boca Raton Christian will be playing at home against St. John Paul II Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Somerset Academy - Canyons, they will head out on the road to take on Park Vista at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
