The Eaton Reds can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 73-24 victory over Weld Central at home. Winning may never get old, but Eaton sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Leading Eaton to victory were Delaney Reuter and Tayla Wiedeman. Reuter scored 16 points, while Wiedeman scored 19 points. That's the first time this season that Reuter scored 15 or more points. Courtney Steinkamp was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Eaton pushed their record up to 8-5 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Weld Central, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
Coincidentally, Eaton and Weld Central will both be playing University the next time they take the court. Eaton will head out to face University at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Weld Central will host them at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
