St. Edmund Prep has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Fordham Prep Rams at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Back in January, St. Edmund Prep was able to grind out a solid victory over the Eagles, taking the game 52-42.
Meanwhile, Fordham Prep didn't have too much trouble with the Cardinals on the road on Sunday as they won 58-44.
Matthew Kapfer was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Will Gregory, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds.
St. Edmund Prep's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Fordham Prep, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.
St. Edmund Prep might still be hurting after the 69-49 defeat they got from the Rams when the teams last played back in December of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Gregory, who scored 23 points. Now that St. Edmund Prep knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time?
