After losing to the Inman Inman Teutons the last time they met, the Moundridge Wildcats decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Moundridge walked away with a 57-49 win over Inman on Thursday.
Moundridge's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hattie Hecox led the charge by scoring 14 points along with 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Cammi Unruh, who scored 18 points along with 5 rebounds.
Moundridge now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Inman, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moundridge won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Lyons at 6:00 p.m. on December 8th. Lyons comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 18 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Inman, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hillsboro on Friday.
