Minto lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Reese Gibson, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Ruth Fox, who scored 12 points.
Walter Northway's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Minto, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
