Clayton got themselves on the board against South Garner on Thursday, but South Garner never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Titans with a sharp 15-0 win. The Comets haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Autumn Joyce, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Delaney Maynard, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Clayton hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Garner struck out seven times.

Clayton's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for South Garner, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-10.

Clayton will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Garner at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for South Garner, they will challenge Fuquay - Varina at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
