The Kenosha Tremper Trojans are taking a road trip to  take on the Kenosha Bradford Red Devils  at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Both come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
The home team had won the previous three meetings between Kenosha Tremper and Racine Case, and Kenosha Tremper kept the tradition alive. The Trojans narrowly escaped with a  win as the  team sidled past the Eagles  6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Trojans have posted  since April 11, 2024.
 Sophia Murphy was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out ten batters over  six innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   four  hits. Murphy was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-2 with two  RBI and one  double.

 In other batting news,  Vivian Meier and  Mallory Meier did most of the damage at the plate:  Vivian  scored a  run while going 2-for-2, while  Mallory  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3. Those  two  hits gave  Vivian a new career-high.  Ava DeBartolo was another key player,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Kenosha Bradford had already won eight in a row dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.1 runs) and they went ahead and made it nine on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Hawks  a   12-0 shutout.
 Kenosha Tremper might still be hurting after the  9-0 loss they got from Kenosha Bradford  in their previous meeting  back in May of 2024. Can the Trojans avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
