Fordham Prep has been on the road for three straight, but on November 23rd they'll finally head home. After both having extra time off, the Fordham Prep Rams and the Xavier Knights will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 10:00 a.m. on November 23rd. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fordham Prep can now relate to. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 40-20 walloping at the hands of St. Peter's last Saturday. The contest was a 20-20 toss-up at halftime, but Fordham Prep couldn't answer the 20 points St. Peter's scored afterwards.
Meanwhile, Xavier unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They had to suffer through a rough 28-0 loss at the hands of Moore Catholic. Xavier has not had much luck with Moore Catholic recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
The losses dropped Fordham Prep to 5-5 and Xavier to 7-4.
Fordham Prep strolled past Xavier in their previous matchup back in November of 2022 by a score of 41-25. Will Fordham Prep repeat their success, or does Xavier have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
