Locke is 0-6 against Jordan since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Locke Saints will head out on the road to square off against the Jordan Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Locke scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They blew past Port of Los Angeles, posting a 96-56 victory at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Locke has posted since November 16, 2023.
Meanwhile, Jordan had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.7 points), and they went ahead and made it eight on Wednesday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 80-38 win over Dymally. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Jordan has posted against Dymally since February 1, 2019.
Locke's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Jordan, they pushed their record up to 14-6 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home.
Locke lost to Jordan on the road by a decisive 65-50 margin in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Locke avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
