Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Johnson County). They ended the year with a bang, routing the Patrick Henry Academy Patriots 90-64 on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Longhorns as it put an end to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Johnson County's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Patrick Henry Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Johnson County won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Hickory Grove Christian at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Hickory Grove Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
