After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Stokes, Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Chatham Central Bears by a score of 20-7.

Jamari Wilson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 180 yards and one touchdown while picking up 9.0 yards per carry, and also throwing for 230 yards and one TD while picking up 11.5 yards per attempt. He didn't just play on offense: he also made four total tackles and defended two passes in addition to snagging an interception. Tim Smith was in the mix too, providing Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy with one score.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 210 rushing yards. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 82.9 rushing yards per game earlier this season, but in their last five matchups they've averaged 225.
