On Tuesday, Liberty Christian had to suffer through a rough 58-18 loss at the hands of Samueli Academy. Liberty Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-11.
Samueli Academy was led to victory by Zack Castruita and Julian Chanelo. Castruita dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds, while Chanelo scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Haset Seyoum, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Liberty Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Samueli Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.
Liberty Christian will head out on the road to challenge Glenn at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Samueli Academy, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Lifeline Charter at 5:00 p.m. on January 11th.
