They took their match on the road on Saturday with ease, bagging a 46-17 win over Southeast Bulloch. 46 seems to be a good number for Screven County as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Leading Screven County to victory were Jaliah Roberts and Olivia Jackson. Roberts scored 15 points along with nine rebounds and seven steals, while Jackson dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds. The match was Roberts' tenth in a row with at least ten points. Razaila Simon was another key contributor, scoring four points.
The victory (which was Screven County's fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-1. As for Southeast Bulloch, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Screven County will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bryan County at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
