The North Rangers will head out to face off against the Geneva Eagles at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. North is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.
North lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Riverside, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's match. The Rangers were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over the Beavers on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Rangers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Tyler Leasure spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on 11 hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.
