San Juan has gone a perfect 10-0 against Monticello recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. San Juan will look to defend their home field against Monticello at 3:00 p.m. San Juan will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
On Wednesday, San Juan made easy work of North Sevier and carried off a 16-2 victory. The Broncos might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by nine runs or more this season.

Branten Bethea and Corbin Middlton made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Bethea pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Middlton tossed three innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. At the plate, Bethea scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Middlton scored a run while going 2-for-2. Bethea is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cooper Palmer, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Cash Palmer, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
San Juan was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .519. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Monticello came up short against Grand County on Tuesday and fell 8-4. The Buckaroo haven't had much luck with the Red Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.
Cache Young made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3.
San Juan's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Monticello, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
Both San Juan and Monticello just can't seem to miss. San Juan has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.6 hits per game. However, it's not like Monticello struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 3.2 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
