Madeline Bruguier posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. She struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Bruguier and Ridgefield will face off against Woodland at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
